SUSTAINABLE PRINTING PAPER
Schwarz Produktion has been producing recyclable, renewable and biodegradable printing paper in Maxau since March 2023. Our supercalendered paper (or SC paper for short) is extremely versatile – it is ideal for advertising brochures, leaflets, newspaper inserts, catalogues, magazines and more.
Our paper production facility is located at the heart of the European market. The work on our high-tech plants and systems at Maxau is performed by highly motivated specialists, including paper technologists, automation technology electronics technicians, industrial mechanics, machine operators and many more. Paper is still a much sought-after material. We have made it our duty to flexibly support our customers in choosing their ideal paper and to provide them with a reliable supply.

Our paper is made up of a mix consisting mainly of recycled fibres and renewable fresh fibres.

THE IDEAL MIX OF FIBRES
We have the flexibility to use different fibre sources in our paper production. We process both fibres from recycled paper and fresh wood fibres, which give the paper greater stability. This mix enables us to produce a wide range of SC papers that are both of a high quality and environmentally friendly.

SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED PAPER
Our paper is environmentally friendly, ecologically sustainable and complies with the high sustainability commitment made by Schwarz Produktion. For paper production, we largely use recycled paper that our employees turn into new paper in a recycling process. We use wood from responsibly managed forestry with short transport routes. This is why all of our papers carry the FSC™ seal (FSC™ C189392) and PEFC seal. We use a high proportion of self-generated, renewable energy to produce the paper, including from biomass.
