ICE CREAM WITH PASSION
The Bon Gelati plants produce sandwich ice cream, ice cream blocks, stick ice cream, waffle cones and squeeze tubes in all kinds of sizes and flavours. Outstanding quality and stable processes are the top priority. The long-term success of Bon Gelati is primarily down to our more than 500 highly qualified and committed employees. Good work makes good ice cream: we began operations on the complex production lines at Bon Gelati Übach-Palenberg back in 2017. At the start of 2021, we took over the ice cream plant in Haaren to expand our ice cream production.
Our in-house Product Development team works around the clock to make our existing ice cream varieties even more delicious – and is also working on new recipes. We set high quality standards for the production of our ice cream and check that they are met multiple times a day. Some of our premium ice cream is stored in the largest deep-freeze warehouse in Germany before it reaches the freezer cabinets of Lidl and Kaufland.

Our diverse assortment with everything from ice cream blocks, to waffle cones to tube bags would open the heart of any ice cream fan. We have speciality ice creams for every taste and every time of year. And our product quality is outstanding: We use only select ingredients, such as chocolate made from certified cocoa, in our products. For our bourbon vanilla ice cream, we use a lot of cream to ensure it tastes extra creamy. In addition to classic dairy ice cream, we also produce vegan alternatives based on oats or pea protein. Sustainability is an important part of our corporate culture. Bon Gelati offers ice cream products with cocoa ingredients from sustainable cultivation. Furthermore, the products we make with palm oil are RSPO-certified. We are also making our ice cream packaging even more recyclable on an ongoing basis.
