At Bon Pasta, we have over 230 years of experience in the production of high-quality pasta. The merchant and pasta maker Johann Peter Belling began producing dried pasta in Erfurt way back in 1793. We are still following the tradition to this day. Producing over 100,000 tonnes of durum wheat pasta (with and without egg) and spelt noodles, we are the largest pasta maker north of the Alps. Thanks to our love of the product and a whole load of commitment and courage, we have seen some impressive development in recent decades, and that is now continuing with Schwarz Produktion.
We deliver millions of people’s favourite pasta every day. We use the best raw materials, state-of-the-art production facilities and flexible and highly efficient organisational structures to produce first-class pasta. We produce around 650,000 packs of pasta every day. On the one hand, we benefit from our geographical location in the heart of Germany. On the other hand, our committed production, engineering and administration staff make a massive contribution to our success. They ensure our pasta is safe and consistently excellent.

PASTA AND NOODLES THAT EVERYONE LOVES
Alongside our high product quality, Bon Pasta makes an impressively wide assortment of pasta varieties and shapes. We supply everything from one single source – durum wheat pasta with egg and without egg (classic pasta), spelt noodles and organic pasta. The two key ingredients in our products are durum wheat semolina and water. We press our dough through matrices that give the noodles their familiar shapes. That’s how we produce your favourite pasta for every occasion. From spaghetti, penne, fusilli and tagliatelle to rigatoni, shells or vermicelli – we produce all kinds of pasta in all shapes and sizes in Erfurt. And every pasta lover has their own preferred shape. We have extensive product development expertise. We have been focusing our efforts on the production of our private brands for some time now.

FIRST-CLASS PASTA
We apply the highest standards for food safety and product quality to our pasta products. Bon Pasta is certified in accordance with the IFS Food 7 and ISO 22000 standards. A high level of environmental awareness is also vital for us to deliver first-class pasta and noodles. During pasta production, we pay particular attention to use regional raw materials, short transport routes and optimised loads.
Today already, 40 percent of the durum wheat we use comes from the local region. We source our spelt exclusively from Germany. The chicken eggs that we process in our egg noodles come from sources inspected by KAT, the German association for alternative poultry husbandry. Our organic products are marked with the German “Bio DE-Öko-001” seal. We comply with the environmental standards EMAS III and ISO 14001 and continuously develop our quality and environmental management systems.
