ALWAYS ON THE TEST BENCH
Anyone who buys our products can rest assured of their safety and tested quality. We use only high-quality raw materials and continuously carry out sensory, chemical-physical and microbiological testing in our in-house quality control laboratories. We never turn a blind eye – the limit values for our products are often stricter than the legislator demands. Furthermore, we submit samples of our products for regular testing by experts from independent accredited test institutes.
QUALITY PROFESSIONALS ON SITE
Every day, we work on further improving the quality, safety and sustainability of our products.
RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTS
Schwarz Produktion understands its responsibility to society and the environment as a food producer. The selection of high-quality ingredients and composition of recipes are of huge importance to the nutrition and health of consumers.
With a combination of a balanced and healthy diet and sufficient exercise, everyone can look after their health and well-being. At Schwarz Produktion, we want to help our customers to do so, and we continuously develop our own brand products in close collaboration with our trading partners with this goal in mind. For instance, we now offer an even wider range of products to promote conscious nutrition.
THE LIDL REDUCTION STRATEGY 2025
In 2017, Lidl introduced a strategy to reduce the content of sugar, salt and fat in certain foods. It aims to prevent diseases caused by malnutrition by making adjustments to our own brand products. The goal is to minimise the amount of sugar and salt in the products by 2025.
AN EVEN GREATER RANGE OF PRODUCTS
We are constantly expanding our product assortment with new products to enjoy in good conscience. Some recently added products include spelt loaves and rolls from Bonback, a light apple drink from MEG and vegan ice cream from Bon Gelati For instance, oats and pea proteins provide the basis for our vegan ice cream – both of which are valuable ingredients that are suitable for a conscientious and balanced diet. We are increasingly labelling products containing no ingredients of animal origin with the V-Label to ensure they are clearly identifiable.
