TRAINING
We are investing more and more in initial training. That helps us meet our high demand for skilled workers and provides a wide range of benefits, both for our internal processes and for society. We develop our trainees in 30 different career paths and provide them with the optimum springboard for starting their careers in the food industry.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY AFFECTS EVERYONE
To ensure every employee can work without the risk of accidents, some basic conditions, such as a high level of safety at the respective workplace, are required. We want to set new benchmarks and gradually reduce the rate of occupational accidents that require reporting. We have already achieved much: from 2017 to 2022, we managed to reduce the rate of accidents requiring reporting by an average of around 13 percent compared to the previous year. The occupational health and safety management system, which is based on ISO 45001 and implemented at every Schwarz Produktion location in Germany, is crucial to this success.

Our Environmental, Health and Occupational Safety (EHS) and Corporate Health Management (BGM) teams are there to prevent accidents at work and risks to health.
